Why painting is different in Miami
Miami is a city of concrete block and stucco under a strong sun. Color fades and old paint turns to chalk. Salt air from the bay and the ocean settles on walls and rusts metal. The National Weather Service counts May 15 to October 15 as the rainy season, when most of the year's rain falls, and humidity feeds mildew on any shaded wall.
So the work before the paint decides how long it lasts. Walls are washed to remove salt, chalk and mildew. Stucco cracks and failed caulk are sealed so rain stays out of the block. Chalky surfaces are sealed before the finish coats. Many of our customers live in condos or HOA communities, and we plan each job around their color and work rules.
How we work
It starts with a free estimate. We walk the job, measure, and talk through colors and sheen. You get a written quote. On the job we cover floors and furniture, repair and prime the surfaces, and apply two coats. Most interior rooms take 1 to 2 days, and a full exterior usually takes 3 to 5 days, depending on weather. We finish with a full clean-up and a walk-through with you.
